Peranakans were amongst the earlier settlers in Singapore. They were originally made up of a mix of Chinese, Malay & Indonesian descendants. This design features a Peranakan-style teapot, the Chinese characters for herbal tea or cooling tea (凉茶 liang cha), ornate Peranakan spoons and Phoenixes.
