2. Service Availability
2.1
Our website is intended for customers residing in Singapore.
2.2 International Orders
We may accept international orders at our sole discretion. Additional shipping charges, taxes, duties, customs fees, import charges and any other applicable fees shall be borne entirely by the customer.
All international sales are final. International orders are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except where the product received is materially defective or incorrectly supplied by Silk Walk.
Silk Walk shall not be responsible for any delays, customs clearance issues, import restrictions, taxes, duties, fees, confiscation, or refusal of entry by the destination country's authorities. Any additional charges imposed by customs or local authorities are the sole responsibility of the customer.

4. How the Contract is Formed Between You and Us

All telephone and online orders are subject to acceptance by Silk Walk, and the contract between us ("the Contract") shall only be formed when the products are dispatched, delivered or collected.

All orders are subject to stock availability. Where a product is unavailable, we may offer a suitable replacement subject to your verbal or written approval. If no suitable replacement is available, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a refund for the unavailable item.

Orders are generally processed and fulfilled within two (2) to three (3) business days unless otherwise stated. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
4.4
You are responsible for ensuring that all order details provided are accurate and complete. Full payment must be received and successfully processed before any order is dispatched or made available for collection.
4.5
Many of our products are handmade, hand-finished, artisanal or produced using natural materials. Variations in colour, texture, finish, pattern, dimensions and appearance may occur between batches and shall not be considered defects.
Returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to our Refunds Policy. Products may only be returned or exchanged if they meet the eligibility requirements set out in our Refunds Policy. Silk Walk reserves the right to reject any return, exchange or refund request that does not comply with those requirements.

6. Price and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.

The price of any product shall be the price quoted on our website at the time the order is placed, except in cases of obvious error.

While we make every effort to ensure that all pricing information on our website is accurate, errors may occasionally occur. Silk Walk reserves the right to correct any pricing, product description or typographical errors at any time without prior notice.

Shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, handling fees and other applicable charges (where applicable) are not included in the product price unless expressly stated.
7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy
7.1 Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
Returns or exchange requests must be submitted within seven (7) days from the date of delivery or collection.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:

Such variations do not qualify for returns, exchanges or refunds.
7.6 Return Shipping and Transportation
Unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied by Silk Walk, all shipping, postage, courier and transportation costs associated with returning an item shall be borne by the customer.

7.8 Delivery Charges
Original delivery, shipping, courier and handling charges are non-refundable.
7.9 Shortfall Claims
Any claim relating to missing, incorrect or short-delivered items must be reported to Silk Walk within two (2) days of delivery.
Failure to notify us within this period shall constitute acceptance of the order as complete and accurate.
7.10 Risk During Return Transit
Customers are responsible for ensuring returned products reach us safely. Silk Walk shall not be responsible for items lost, damaged or delayed during return transit.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1
We strive to ensure that all products supplied by Silk Walk are of satisfactory quality and substantially match their descriptions at the time of purchase.
8.2
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Silk Walk's total liability in connection with any product purchased from us shall be limited to the purchase price paid for that product.
8.3
Unless otherwise expressly stated by Silk Walk, any manufacturer warranties, guarantees or after-sales service relating to a product are provided solely by the respective brand owner, manufacturer or supplier.
8.4
Silk Walk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or any other economic loss arising from the use of, inability to use, or purchase of any product.

Silk Walk shall not be liable for any damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, improper storage, negligence, normal wear and tear, accidents, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow product care instructions.
8.6
Many products sold by Silk Walk are handmade, hand-finished or made using natural materials. Variations in colour, texture, finish, dimensions, pattern or appearance are natural characteristics of such products and shall not be considered defects or grounds for liability.

10. Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)

Silk Walk shall not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to perform any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").

Civil unrest, riots, public disturbances, invasion, terrorist attacks, war, threat of war or armed conflict;

Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disasters;

Interruptions, disruptions or inaccessibility of transportation systems, including air, sea, rail, road, courier or postal services;

Interruptions, failures or inaccessibility of public or private telecommunications networks, internet services, payment systems or utilities;
10.2.6
Government actions, legislation, regulations, sanctions, restrictions, import or export controls, customs delays or other regulatory measures;
10.2.7
Supplier shortages, manufacturing delays, shipping disruptions or shortages of materials beyond our reasonable control.
10.3
Where a Force Majeure Event occurs, Silk Walk's obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event.
10.4
Silk Walk shall use reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as soon as practicable but shall not be liable for any losses, costs, expenses or damages arising from such delay or inability to perform.
10.5
If a Force Majeure Event continues for an extended period, Silk Walk reserves the right to cancel affected orders and provide an appropriate refund for any undelivered products.
11. Waiver

Any failure or delay by Silk Walk in exercising or enforcing any right, remedy or provision under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right, remedy or provision.
11.2
Any waiver by Silk Walk of any breach, default or non-compliance shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent or continuing breach, default or non-compliance.

No waiver shall be effective unless it is expressly made in writing and signed or authorised by Silk Walk.

A waiver of any right or remedy on one occasion shall not prevent Silk Walk from exercising that right or remedy on any other occasion.

If an order is cancelled, refunded, returned or partially refunded, any promotional code, discount or offer applied to that order shall not be reinstated, reissued or refunded unless otherwise determined by Silk Walk at its sole discretion.

Promotional discounts apply only to the qualifying products and do not apply to shipping charges, delivery fees, taxes, duties or other charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
17. Pre-Orders
17.1
Products marked as "Pre-Order" are items that are not immediately available for dispatch and are purchased in advance of their arrival.
17.2
Full payment is required at the time a pre-order is placed.
17.3
Estimated delivery or arrival dates are provided as a guideline only and are subject to manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, shipping conditions, customs clearance and other factors beyond Silk Walk's control.
17.4
Delivery dates for pre-order items are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Silk Walk shall not be liable for any delays in production, shipment, customs clearance or delivery.
17.5
Pre-order items are not eligible for cancellation, refund, exchange or change of mind once the order has been placed, unless otherwise stated by Silk Walk.

Where a pre-order item becomes permanently unavailable or cannot be fulfilled, Silk Walk's liability shall be limited to a refund of the amount paid for the affected item.

Where an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, Silk Walk reserves the right to ship the items together once all products are available, or separately at its sole discretion.

21. Additional Terms
21.1 Gift Cards, Vouchers and Store Credits
Gift cards, vouchers and store credits issued by Silk Walk are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost, stolen, damaged or expired gift cards, vouchers and store credits will not be replaced unless required by applicable law.
Silk Walk reserves the right to refuse, cancel or invalidate any gift card, voucher or store credit where fraud, misuse or unauthorised activity is suspected.
